I am the mother of a teenager.  How did that happen?  I know how it *happened*, but how did it happen?

    1. That's it. I keep looking over my shoulder as I'm sure someone is going to turn up and tell me they've made a mistake whilst they drag me back to school.

  9. Can TOTALLY relate. This September I will saying "Holy Cripes! I'm the mother of a 30 year old" and then denying it.

  11. Nice shot - lots of personality here! We've got two in their twenties...one who's been married a few years - so the next thing I could be hearing is "grandma"! Thanks for linking up!

    1. That's why they make babies so cute, so you grow too attached to them before they become teenagers.

  13. I'm rather enjoying this teenager phase though. As hard as it is, I think it's easier than the toddler phase! Great shot.

    1. Toddlers are indeed difficult but try putting a teenager down for a nap because they're cranky ;)

  14. Love your black and white!~ No doubt, my kids teen hood was the most challenging, because every parent want their child to turn out "right!" Hang on, at some point they will somehow remember that life is more than the cell phone:):)

  15. Did my comment get through? In case not, the time "kids" are in their teens is most challenging for a parent! Hang on, at some time they remember all the lessons you have taught them:)
